Coming Undone

I suppose I should write, but I’m actually coming unglued.

I just got a job at a music fall and I am so excited.

I feel like going and buying a million earrings and being dazzled.

Sometimes life is really melancholy, but sometimes it’s really wonderful too.

I’m grateful that I’m able to see both sides and love them both.

I know the low times are made for quiet reflection and taking care of myself.

I know the high times are for smiling and laughing and making the big moves.

It’s important. It’s all important. It’s all so, so insanely important.

How we move about this world matters.

Did you know that sending an email can change your life?

Did you know that sending a message can change your life?

Did you know that the way you move matters?

Because it does, it really does.

It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s hard but we have to take accountability and move forward in a way that matters.

We have to make the changes we have to make. We have to do the things we have to do.

We have to move with integrity and be true to ourselves, even when it’s hard. Even when other people try to shut us down.

It’s okay. We still have to move with light. We still have to keep going.

We still have to show up and make them feel important. It’s important. IT’S IMPORTANT.

I don’t care how they respond. I don’t care if they never do. What matters is that I took the step to make someone feel beautiful and special and magic. What they do with that is their business!

I won’t let it stop me from being me!

I will keep being magic, no matter what. I will shine my light and try to help others illuminate their paths. I will do my best. I will try. I will try. I will try. I will reach out. I will make that first move.

Why? Because tomorrow is never promised. This could all just be gone in the blink of an eye. It will all dissolve into dust one day and the only thing we will have to cling to is whether or not we went for it. If we said the thing, did the thing, tried the avenue. It’s okay to fail. It’s not okay to never try.

It’s not okay to sit on the sidelines of your life and hope that something happens. It’s just not.

You must dive in. You must puddle jump and make a big splash in your life because if you don’t, there will be no splash.

There will just be a puddle of water. And I’m not saying that the puddle won’t be beautiful. I’m not saying that somedays the puddle shouldn’t be stilled water. I’m just saying sometimes you should really just jump in.

You might… you might… you might. But if you don’t, you won’t… you won’t… you won’t…

That’s all there is to it.

I’m publishing these without even proof reading them, so if by chance, someone ends up reading them - hi, this is my heart and soul unfiltered without proof reading. Enjoy!

With Gratitude,

Kajelyn
